So it seems in the US... you are not 'allowed' to walke down the street and take photos of the street.
Somehow I have 'recommitted a crime'.
I was walking home from my friends' house in Bloomington, IN and was stopped b/c I was taking pictures...
I just called the police dept, but they really didn't see an issue with me being stopped.
The officers (3 of them in 3 cars) stopped me, took my ID ("Do you have your papers, sir?") and then asked to search both my bag and look at the photos.
They eventually let me walk home, but not after asking me silly questions like
"Why were you taking photos?" To which I answered "Because I LIKE to take photos"
