It seems that they are not too crazy expensive used

I guess I could save up my money and buy a used one of the flatbed short versions.
It is just about as much car as I really need on a regular basis.
I really wonder what the insurance is like?
If it is cheap enough, then I could drop coverage on my car ( @ $45/month) and rent a car every other month or so if I needed to go somewhere further than 30 miles... or maybe even wire in extra batteries or some sort of solar recovery system... who knows...
